Transcription happens on the Neural Engine, so a three-hour lecture costs us exactly what a thirty-second voice note costs: nothing. That is why there is no meter running.

Prices are shown in your own currency in the App Store. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and can be managed or cancelled at any time in your Apple Account settings.

Scriba has no backend. Your recordings, your transcripts and everything generated from them stay in the app's own storage on your iPhone, and are never sent anywhere.
The app does measure which advertising brings people to it, using AppsFlyer, and only with your permission through the iOS tracking prompt. That measurement never includes any audio, transcript, note title or search term.
