EdgeMarket ("we", "our") operates edgemarket.app. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.
Data we collect
- Account data: email address and authentication identifiers, managed through Firebase Authentication (Google LLC).
- Business & review content: the business profiles you configure and the review text you paste or import, used solely to generate responses for you.
- Billing data: subscription and payment status. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card details.
- Usage data: basic technical logs (IP address, request metadata) for security and rate limiting. IP addresses used for the free tool's daily limit are stored only in hashed form.
How we use your data
- To provide the service: generating review responses via AI models (review text is sent to our AI provider, OpenAI, for processing and is not used by us for advertising).
- To manage subscriptions and billing through Stripe.
- To secure the service and prevent abuse.
Data sharing
We share data only with the processors necessary to run the service: Firebase (authentication), Stripe (payments), and OpenAI (AI text generation). We do not sell your data.
Data retention & deletion
Your data is retained while your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at the email below.
Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (including GDPR for EU residents), you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Contact us to exercise them.
